About Me

As a general residential contractor for over 10 years, which evolved into my specializing in home inspections for the past 3 years. I’m a member of NAHI (National Association of Home Inspectors), am American Home Inspection-certified, take continuing radon update courses through the EPA, and have studied at the Environmental Institute for Mold Testing. I cover middle Tennessee (Nashville area), including Davison, Williamson, Cheatham, Wilson, Rutherford, Maury, and Summer counties. I specialize in residential and some light commercial properties and perform environmental testing for mold and radon, in addition to my standard inspections.

I wholeheartedly recommend that clients accompany me during the inspection. We can learn the house together, and offer preventive and maintenance tips. I can share my knowledge to make you more in control, confident, and at ease about your house. I like you to go over my findings and ask questions, which are a sign of intelligence, as well as protective concern for probably the largest investment you will make.

My reports are computer-generated with digital photographs, and problem areas are highlighted on a special overview page. The reports are divided into individual categories and are available within 24 hours by email, fax, or hand delivery.

I prefer 24 hours’ advance notice but will accommodate emergency situations. My insights and advice don’t end with the inspection—you can call me anytime with questions about your inspection or report.

How am I different? Experience and familiarity… I’ve lived in in Tennessee for over 40 years, and I’ve been in and around houses for over 20 years. I can anticipate problems that are common in this region, for both new and old homes. Much of my business is from word-of-mouth referrals given by satisfied customers. I want my clients to feel comfortable with their homes and with asking questions about their homes—so I take great pride in being as thorough and detailed in my inspections as possible.
